[Opensource] i need some help

Yes it does but not the ones you mentioned.  Out-of-the-box Expresso has
- cron-like component
- Security
- Presistance model
- logging
- others

Then if you go to the jcorporate site you will see other components that plug-in to the framework like
- forums
- content management
- poll
- search
- others

What components are you needing, chat and mailserver only? For chat I have integrated Jabber before, not difficult and for a mail server...hmmm, why?  Expresso can plug-into a mail server but does not come with one.
