[Opensource] [Opensource]server restart after object compilation

Sorry about this, maybe it's a silly question, but I didn't find an 
explicit answer anywhere...

After I compile some objects in my application, do I need to restart the 
server (Tomcat 4.1.27, as part of the expresso5-3-RC3-complete.zip), or 
is there another way to have the changes available?

BTW, in Geeta Ramani's doc about DBMaint there is a command that no 
longer seems to work: <servername>:8080/admin/reload.do

Has something changed in Expresso, or does it depend on a different 
configuration of Struts or Tomcat?
