Hey All!
I've been preparing Expresso 5.3 RC-6 to head out the door, and I wanted to
stop and take a quick moment to thank the Expresso community. Far and
away, this release has had the most community involvement of any Expresso
release so far!
Many of these patches are behaviors and fixes that occur in an instance
that it is not easy to set up a test case and fix with a simple one liner.
So to Francesco, Rudi, Juris, Malcolm, Larry, Peter, Wei Chen, and another
guy that doesn't want public credit (you know who you are!), one big thank
you! I especially appreciate your guys' ability to work back and forth with
patches and other snippets to make sure I got code merged in correctly, or
indeed got an issue fixed. That kind of testing and patience is what makes
Expresso one of the best opensource communities to be a part of!
More thank you's go to the listserv and forum lurkers that pipe up when
they know an answer to a question, suggest workarounds, or even refer
people to proper docs.
-Mike
