I'm not sure (please someone correct me if I'm wrong) but I believe that
you must have an initialized object in order to use this kind of
functions...
so what you should do is to create an object of the table you want to
reference to and then call the method with this object...

Hello all,
how do I set up referential integrity?
I read the javadocs for DBObject and found the following method:
protected void checkRef (
String foreignKeyNames,
DBObject refObject,
String errorMessage )
throws DBException
It means that refObject is a reference to the related DBObject. How can I
use this method if I don't have a reference, but just a String that
represents the related class ( "com.mycompany.app.dbobj.SomeThing" ) ?
