Sounds like maybe a path issue... Try using a fully qualified path and see i
that helps.
IE: instead of "java filename" use something similar to "/usr/java/bin/java
/volume/filename"
See if that helps.

Subject: [Opensource] Just one small Question?
I hope this address gets out to everyone...I have a simple question I
think....I have a linux shell script (crontab) that I am trying to use
to call a java application. It seems to work ok, but I can't seem to
start the application with the shell script. when I try to start the
app with "java appname" I get the message "file not found" Can anyone
tell me what is going on? I have researched google from one end to the
other and can't seem to find an answer...thanks...jeff
