Sandra,
I have been through the GSA process, but not with expresso.
Are you referring to offering Expresso as a "boxed - set" and selling
that, or are you referring to providing expresso related services.
I would image that it would be (fairly) easy to get Expresso related
services such as installation, setup and configuration and expresso
development onto a company's GSA schedule.
However, I do not know (or have an experience with) selling it as a
product to the GSA. I would imagine that if you tried that you might be
most successful if you bundled it with some type of support contract.
Thus (for example) I would expect that "Expresso plus 60 days support is
$300" would be an easier sell than just offering "Expresso".
The other item to take note of, is that to get a product or service on
the GSA, the government looks to see a commercial history of you
actually selling this product or service to the GSA. Then they look at
all of the prices that you have charged for this product or service and
(with few exceptions) they take the lowest price that you have ever
charged and as for a discount off of that price!
I hope this helps.
