[Opensource] Velocity Users?

Hey All,

Since Velocity is beating the pants off of JSP speed-wise right now, is 
anybody actually using it with their Expresso projects.  If so, would 
anybody be interested in making an add on, or instructions for adding 
Velocity to Expresso to make it a first class citizen? [as jsp and xslt's 
are currently]

I'm not interested in converting existing pages to Velocity or even 
requiring it as part of the Expresso bundle.  But I think it would be a 
good value addition to Expresso for those conscious of speed.

[As an example, in a current typical page rendering, at least 1/2 of the 
CPU time is now spent in JSP rendering.]
