[Opensource] BOF 2027 on Navigating the Application Framework Terrain

Chandan Singh, Larry Hamel and I presented a BOF at JavaOne this year. 

We did a considerable amount of research in preparing hence it seemed
logical that we create a website for the ongoing research of mvc2 based
frameworks called http://www.mvc2frameworks.org. 

The site materials compares both presentation frameworks (i.e. Struts,
Webwork) as well as architectural frameworks (i.e. Expresso, Turbine). 

In preparing for this BOF the first thing we did was to define what all
comprises an architectural framework. As you will see this was no small
undertaking. There is a spreadsheet listing the criteria and comparing
the frameworks for which we got responses. 

There is a pdf copy of the presentation at the site above. If anyone is
interested in doing a Java Users Group (JUG) presentation in your local
area let us know.
