Sandra I missed the other parts of this reply, but I would like to know your
views on the answer to your question at the bottom? Does the market become
more accepting of the open source software? In my opinion many open source
frameworks are superior in quality and functionality (not to mention
support!) than many if not most of the commercially available products out
there. I never really thought about it from the market point of view.

Subject: [Opensource] Maturing Framework market

A large open source user base is why a commercially friendly open source
framework like Expresso gets tested in more environments commercial
offerings, and evolves more quickly than its commercial counterparts. The
question is compared to commercial architectural framework offerings do you
think Expresso is:

1. less mature?
2. as mature?
3. more mature?

What do you think happens to a market when open source products are more
mature than their commercial counterparts due to the fast evolution of the
sofware with the open source community development process?
