At the Oreilly Opensource Convention this summer, Craig McClanahan, and I
are presenting a session Friday, July 11, titled "Beyond Struts." It's a
look at several cases of Extending Struts in various directions. I will be
discussing the Expresso team's experience in extending Struts for our own
project as well as cover how to integrate Struts with Macromedia Flash.

Craig will be talking about XML extensions to struts, and using Java
ServerFaces with Struts. If for some STRANGE reason, you don't know the
name Craig McClanahan, let me bring you up to speed. He's the create of
Struts, Specification Lead for JSF, and a primary architect of Tomcat 4.1
and 5. I must say, THAT's a resume :)

For the record, the theme of this year's conference is "Embrace and
Extend"... Since it would be "bad taste" to heckle the Oreilly folks while
at my time slot, let me ask you this on my time.... Doesn't that theme
sound like a slogan written by Microsoft??? :)

Anyway, I will be at the convention that day, so if any of you have burning
questions you wanted to ask me in person, the convention is the place to do
it.

Look forward to meeting any of you that can make it!
