Hi Larry,

Actually, hang on for a bit because the framework I'm working on will 
bypass the current configuration system and such situations like this for 
logging as well.  In fact, the logging initialization portion is already 
done, and it is MUCH cleaner than the original LogManager.... no more 
hacking into log4j internals!

Now that 5.0.3 is out the door, I'm spending the majority of my Expresso 
time to finish up the component framework. [And I'm going to have to 
rewrite docs again! :) ]  Look for it fully checked in by a couple of 
week's time.  I will warn everybody before I do, however, since it will 
destabilize CVS while we all work out any kinks :)
