Peter,

I forgot one issue you mentioned regarding why ValidValues are Vectors 
instead of Lists or ArrayLists

The issue on why it wasn't converted over was strictly due to backwards 
compatability.  At the time I converted all the other typical method 
signatures from Vectors to Lists, I could not find a good, convenient way 
to  make the ValidValue architecture to convert over without sacrificing 
backwards compatability.  If there is something you can see that would help 
this, it would be great.
