I can take this on for people who don't have commit access.
Anyone who doesn't have CVS commit access, writes javadocs, and would like
them to be contributed, please email them directy to me. But, PLEASE make
sure your docs are valid. I will look over the docs for the classes and
methods of which I am already aware, but do not currently have time to
double check others.
Thanks and I hope this becomes fruitful,
mike

Subject: [Opensource] RE: Clean Source Code/Javadocs
Everybody would love better javadocs in the very least... I would suggest
to ANYBODY looking for this that you do the following:
-Add/Update javadocs to any particular class and methods you understand.
I often understand that it is difficult to fathom the purpose of some of
the internal functions... no worries! Just document what you HAVE figured
out.
-Find someone with CVS access that is willing to commit javadoc updates.
Anybody with major or core contributor status has CVS commit access. In
fact, is there anybody out there that is willing to, in general, have
javadoc updates submitted to them?? As far as workload goes, it would be
much easier than going over patches.
Expresso has come a long way over this past year, but it has a long way to
go; I agree with you completely. But it will take a full group effort by
everybody to bridge that gap of where we are and where we want to be.
-Mike
[P.S. To those who's names I see in the CVS commit logs on a regular
basis, of course, I'm not talking to you! Your hard work is already
appreciated! ;) ]
