[Opensource] Appenders Appenders Everywhere.....

Hey All,

Got a question for y'all.... (And I'm not even from Texas! :) )...  Since 
JBoss and other App servers don't like Console Appender.... YET most 
beginners need ConsoleAppender active, any ideas how to compromise here?

I'm thinking of having two basic log4j.xml files, one that we use for the 
war distribution that doesn't use ConsoleAppender at all, and one for the 
Expresso/Tomcat bundle that does use ConsoleAppender.  This way, we could 
recommend the .war distribution for those that are integrating with their 
own special app server distribution.

What do you guys think?
