[Opensource] User Security Groups

Hi,

I have three questions regarding User Security Groups.

1- Suppose I have the following settings in my Expresso:

Setup>DefaultGroup>oneGroupName
Setup>defaultRegDomain>oneRegistrationDomain
and
'oneRegistrationDomain' has the field 'defaultGroup' set to:
'anotherGroupName'.

When a visitor registers himself, the registration will be done through
the 'oneRegistrationDomain' and the visitor (User) will belong to the
'anotherGroupName'.
My question here is: what's the use of the Group Name entered in
Setup>DefaultGroup ?, as the new member will (I think) always belong to
the User Group defined in the RegistrationDomain.

2 - If I want to have visitors (Users) that will belong to the same
RegistrationDomain, but to different User Security Groups, how do I
realize that? Practically I will have to have different registration
forms for each User Security Groups, or may be one registration form
with a choice box for specifying the User Security Group they will
belong to, but how do I enforce (specify) the User Security Group?

3- There is an approval procedure for new registrants, but I can not
find how to do it?, or is it still not implemented?

I posted these questions here because no documentation covers them
(right?)

Thanks for any answer
