Chris,
I don't have PollSchema.class, but all you have to do is comment out one
of the first lines of the constructor which in the case of eContent
looks like:

    /**
     * Constructor
     *
     * @throws DBException
     */
    public EContentSchema() throws DBException {
        //requiresVersion(requiredExpressoVersion,
"com.jcorporate.expresso.core.ExpressoSchema");

Anyway, I think this can not be a permanent solution, so you have to use
the right version combination.
