[Opensource] Application Integration?

Chris,

First of all you better not use the "complete" distribution, at least
for eContent.
Then, for Ex 4.1 you must get eContent 2.1 (if fact it's from a while
that it is not available for download, but I guess it will soon be)

For installation a would recommend:
- unjar eContent wherever you want.
copy the directory
C:\whatever\econtent2.1ea1\expresso\components\
into the
C:\yourinstallationdir\expresso4-1-ea4-bin\expresso\

copy the content of subdirectories of
C:\whatever\econtent2.1ea1\WEB-INF
into the respective subdirectories (or new directories) of:
C:\yourinstallationdir\expresso4-1-ea4-bin\WEB-INF

Then
- start at Expresso
- login as Admin
-Applications>Registered Schemas>add
-fill the form as docs say
Then
-Setup>Create/Verify Database....>Run

Then ..... prepare to sweat, as this thing is really not documented.
