It seems to be that your classpath is not well-set. Classes of expresso are
not in the classpath. You should include them. Aslo servlet.jar. I never
work with weblogic, but in jbuider i have to do that before i can get it
start it

Subject: [Opensource] Problem on startup Expresso5.0 in Solaris with
WebLogic7.0
I have downloaded Expresso5.0 and able to run on my WinNT platform
with
the Tomcat. However does not working in Solaris with WebLogic7.0.
Error shown summaries as below:
<Oct 24, 2002 12:25:39 PM SGT> <Error> <HTTP> <101250>
<[ServletContext(id=4042428,name=DefaultWebApp,context-path=)]:
Servlet
class com.jcorporate.expresso.core.servlet.DefaultInit for servlet
DefaultInit could not be loaded because a class on which it depends
was not found in the classpath >
and,
<Oct 24, 2002 12:25:40 PM SGT> <Error> <HTTP> <101216> <Servlet:
"action" failed to preload on start
up in webapp: "DefaultWebApp"
javax.servlet.UnavailableException: Unable to locate
struts-config.xml
>
What have to be included in the Environment Variable CLASSPATH? is
that
servlet.jar?
Or I have to edit the CLASSPATH in any configuration under Expresso,
Tomcat or WebLogic?
Please help.
Thank you
Regards,
Michael Yee
