see "httpunit" reference in my other email.  it chokes on expresso html 4 tags right now.

for a design, just go to any popular site and notice how they use embedded menus rather than (yuk) frames.

i can't promise anything about implementation efforts though, sorry.  my original message hoped for a hero to step forward :-)
