Larry

Thanks for the catch on the urls in the component overviews. They are
now corrected onsite.

Which reminds me one of the features planned for the next release of
eContent is an url checker. Anyone written such code for their own site?

The slow behaviour of the documentation link has been a real issue
though it isn't related to econtent actually. And, we believe we have
resolved the issue. We've been waiting for a stable release of Expresso
to deploy it in the next site update.... Now that 5.0 is out we can
start taking action to make improvements to the site dynamically.

As for the timing of the next site update - in related news we have a
dedicated server being setup now so all things working out we expect to
be up on the new server with new revisions of all the software within a
few weeks. Once its setup and tested we do the switch from the existing
server.

Sounds like you have some design ideas for dynamic pages including
menus? If you would like to propose something specific we're all ears -
always open to improving the site useability. Would like to hear more.
Maybe you could do up a mockup?

As for balanced reviews -- It's always nice for people to point out what
stuff it is that they like (in addition to what needs work) :-).
Sometimes knowing what we're doing right is as useful as what were not.

BTW a heck of a lot of work has gone into the documentation updates over
the past few weeks. And there's more that needs doing. Even if it's a
few paragraphs, some suggest edits, or to advise of some
error/inaccuracy let us know. The listserv is fine though if you want to
let me know offlist email me direct. The documentation is crucial
especially to new comers - so many will appreciate your effort.
