Hi all,
I seem to have received a virus from a person who's regularly on the list (it didn't affect me). The virus is, I think, of the Bug Bear variety. It's pretty clever in that it resends a real email message from someone's sent box to undisclosed recipients, so it seems like a genuine email message. Anyway, I've seen it carry .scr attachments and executables.
Either that or its normal to attach a .scr-file as an attached greeting card ;-)
I decided to post this message on the list because I expect more people on the list to have received it. If not: sorry for the off-topic. If so: as long as you don't open/execute the attachment, you should be fine. Stay sharp!
Kind regards,
Marc Schipperheyn
