[Opensource] Expresso in Iplanet Web Server 6.0

Hi Lirian,

I have had similar problems with iPlanet 6, although with another
application, not Expresso. Download and install Sun's JDK. For me, iPlanet
was very picky with my application and seem to only like Sun's 1.2.2 JDK.
Make sure you configure iPlanet to use the JDK vice the internal JRE which
it does by default.

Subject: [Opensource] Expresso in Iplanet Web Server 6.0

Hi,
I'm having problems installing Expresso in Iplanet Web Server 6.0.
I deploy an Expresso application and when I try accessing expresso's
frame.jsp I get :

org.apache.jasper.compiler.CompileException:
c:/servers/iplanet/docs/myapp/expresso/frame.jsp(11,0) Unable to open
taglibrary /WEB-INF/tld/expresso-html.tld : Could not locate TLD
/WEB-INF/tld/expresso-html.tld
 at
org.apache.jasper.compiler.JspParseEventListener.handleDirective(JspParseEve
ntListener.java:707)

 at
org.apache.jasper.compiler.DelegatingListener.handleDirective(DelegatingList
ener.java:110)

 at org.apache.jasper.compiler.Parser$Directive.accept(Parser.java:215)
... etc

Is this a XML parser conflict between Expresso's Xerces and Iplanet's
Crimson ?. If yes, how can I resolve it.
Can someone help

thanks

Lirian
