[Opensource] Should User Groups and Controller Permissions be associated with a Schema?

The xml export/import idea makes sense. It seems to me that it's already
available through XMLController. Is it lacking some functionality that I'm
not aware of? I've yet to attempt to use the import, although the export
seems fine...

The flip side of what I've wanted to see is the ability to export security
settings. So you could set all the security settings you want on your test
environment, upload the file to your production environment when you're
ready to go online and let 'er rip.
Probably displaying the current security settings in an xml file would be
most doable...
Just my .02 since I'm not currently working on it! <grin>
