Marc,

It's also the first time for me that I write plug-ins/modules for IDE's, so 
I don't know much of it yet either.
But I think that it is indeed IDE specific code. but since I also use 
Oracle's JDev I will have a look at it.

Maybe you can help figuring out how plug-ins or modules have to be written 
for JDev ?

So for the moment we have people who want modules for netbeans, eclipse and 
JDev.
Now, my question for all of you out there is :

Is it possible to write plug-ins for different kinds of IDE's in such a way 
that we don't have to re-write all the code.
I think we have to write some interfaces that can interact with the IDE 
specific code and the code that should be common for all IDE's ?!

Has anyone yet written plug-ins for different kinds of IDEs ? If so do you 
think that it is possible to write such interfaces so that we don't have to 
re-write too much code.
