[Opensource] Help: Unable to process schema

I get "Warning: Unable to process schema" for eContent when I try to
run the "create database" item on the Expresso Setup. It is the correct
schema, it's in my path, and I verified its location and proper
permissions and attributes. What causes a schema to fail? The error also
says to check the log files, but my expresso.log file is empty. I checked
my servlet engine's (resin 2.1.1) log file and there's nothing there
either. I successfully registered the schema and I'm using Hypersonic.
Any advice is appreciated. I've checked the eContent and Expresso
user's guides, the FAQs, and the troubleshooting sections. I've also
scoured Google (site:mail.jcorporate.com <search string>) for help.

Full Error:

Warning: Unable to process schema com.jcorporate.econtent.EContentSchema
