[Opensource] Expresso and STRUTS VALIDATION compatibilty ?

I have used Struts Validation on a previous project and I have found it
very intersting and efficient :

   it works on a declarative way : the validation.xml configuration file
   allows to specify data entry constraint (data type, range, regular
   expression, etc ...),
   it garantees that the JavaScript controls executed on the client side
   are semanticly the same as those executed on the server side (within the
   validate BeanForm method).

Has anyone try to use it with Expresso ?

Basicly,  Struts Validation  is not compatible with Expresso beacause it
works at the BeanForm level and it is not able to deal with Controller
Input.

May be it shoukd be interesting for the Expresso community to adapt it ...
